Time has come where all the nature fruits of the fall begin to ripe, including late grape sorts like Rizling.
So off we went to the vineyards by car to help, picking the drygrapes out and eating the ones on the floor...us doggies that is, humans were busy working as usual hihi.
The whole bunch of us met up there again, Lyra, Tara, Emma, Spot and me were playing, chasing and ofcourse getting as dirty as possible. It shows that the winter is getting closer, the temperatures were very low today, cold brrrr, but with a little sun it heated up nicely and yesterdays rain dissapeared and left just enough mud for me to enjoy it like a little piglet hihi.
It's nice and very cozy, and an abundance of food, with people very willing to give it to us beggers around the table. Not a habbit dog owners like, but it's a special occasion so we are tolerated hihi.
Klemen, Magnus and Maja decided to gather some chestnuts from the forest, which they eat roasted or cooked, me, I am more of a meat eating dog, but I helped gather. Emma, Lyra and Tara stayed bit away from us, since they dont like the poking feeling of their pads...pff such girly girls hehe. Me, I had no problem running up and down those spikey shells, with my fur I even carried some.

I am aware I'm uber spoiled, yet disciplined well, very nicely groomed yet always manage to get dirty, but one does have to admit, I look best in the fall season, so many colors matching my fur. I would ask if it's noticable my fur has been plucked and groomed, but I am aware, that being sooo dirty one cannot even notice the color of my natural feet fur hihi. My owners joke I often look like Bajadera chocolade haha:

Very exciting day, but now, I am laying on the bed on my back, feet up in the air, oh yes all four of them, sleeping like there is no tomorrow, toooo muuuchhh food and play hehe.

Oh have I been a bad boy!

Yesterday we went for a long walk by the river shore, which is almost flooded to the point you cannot walk the plateau next to it. The rain has been so severe in Slovenia, that those paths are covered with wood debree and mudd, which I went crazy for, I ran into the water and swam with the lady ducks, who were trying to heat themself up in the grass of the shore. My mind became so obsessed with swimming, playing in the mudd, sniffing so much that my owners couldn't stop laughing about it. Ofcourse not to mention how badly I smelled...oh yes! Awful, but so amazing to me, I dont think I ever had so much fun in the river as I did yesterday.

When we got home I had to take a bath...dread!!! I don't like baths so I went into insanely playful barking and stealing all the towels they used on me just to show how much I don't like being bathed after such an amazaingly bad smell.

When the owners fell asleep, my playfulness didn't stop, afterall I did get some rest already and now my naughty batteries got recharged again, hihi. Since I was always such a good boy since I arrived, they never got me a crate, I always slept on my little pastel green bed or on the blanket next to it, and when I got bigger they allowed me to sleep next to their feet on their comfortable bed. Since I never destroyed anything in the house or showed any uncalculated behaviour, we all agreed I was allowed to walk around the house in case I needed to go pee where my diaper is in the hallway during the night. But now I have found a very fun thing to do...explore trash! Oh what fun that is, all I need to do is make a little hole at the bottom of the bag and scoop out anything I can find that catches my interest. And what did i do yesterday?

I woke Maja up at 5 am, with complaining and attention seeking, she woke up and we went to the bathroom, and much to her surprise she discovered what I have been up to. Ups! Busted!

She started laughing but then she realised that they were cleaning out some stuff from the fridge yesterday when they were baking pasteries and noticed I ate some old bread and an entire meat Burek!!! Burek is quite common pasterie origing from Turkish times, it's somewhat of a pie, made out of cheese, meat or potatos. They threw away a meat one, it's very greasy, very spiced and not a good idea to allow dog to eat. But I did, I mean..how could I not...it was greasy, meaty and past the expiration date, what more can a naughty pup ask for? Haha. My tummy was like a little baloon and I had to drink every 5 minutes since that thing was so darn salty.

Oh yes I forgot to mention, I have school again today, and owners are afraid I will have the runs when we are there, hahaha upsi. I love being a puppy in this house. Oh and yes, you know how cocker spaniels have really long ears and dip them into everything they smell or eat? Oh yes you guessed it, my ears are now disgustingly greasy and smell like trash, haha, teenage years are fun.

BBQ, Spot and school

This weekend was amazing, my owners sister had a birthsday party and all the family dogs and a lot of friends came. So much food and new things, I was confused at the start, but then I realised there is a secret room next to the kitchen where all the goodies are stored (food, snacks and bones which people didn't eat!!), ofcourse me being as cool as I am, I just had to sneak into that room and have myself a little bone while noone was watching hihi..I got caught tho:S...Shame;)

So many new tastes and new types of food, I stole as much as I could and took advantage of anything people gave me, which ofcourse lead to my tummy being a bit weird, but nothing a lot of grass didn't sort...so worth it;).

Spot is another dog I met there, he is a six months old shitsu mix, we wrestled all over the house and the outside, he is smaller then me but I did let him throw me on the back and nibble my ears. He was very gentle. People were very impressed by us dogs, especially the older ones Tara and Emma, there was about twentyfive people and kids running around, drinking, talking and all of us behaved and enjoyed the company, really beautiful party. My first party ever. I am a party animal hihi.

Today we payed for the school, which starts on friday, I don't know it yet but I am having a bath tomorrow...oh the joy:S, I apperently need to smell nice for all the new kids at school, where I will probably misbehave and have a lot of snacks and fun..Yay. More on that on friday:)

Mushrooms

Today my female owner went to the market with her dad on the way to the shops, but when they saw that those market salesmen were selling mushroom, they couldn't resist so they cancelled all their plans and called us up. We drove about 30 minutes to a beautiful forest and started looking for mushrooms, running around and eating everything we could find. We being Lyra and me, since she came along. We found 202 mushrooms! We were walking, exploring and playing for 5 hours in the cool but warm forest. This is how the mushrooms that we were after look like.

My female owner's sister had an operation so she was quite weak after we came home, so we decided to keep Lyra with us till nighttime...we played, slept, ate, peed, played, slept...you know how it goes with us puppies :)
I am asleep now, but my nails have been cut, my paw hair has been groomed, my fur has been brushed so I am ready for bed all pretty as usual. I have to brag about my new teeth they are really starting to show, I have the frontal ones almost completely out leaving only my fangs to fall out and the back ones. I do however get spoiled by my owners massaging my gums to ease the pain (it's not like the toys and such don't do the job, but extra is always welcome;)).

Today we went to the vet, Dr. Rok was ofcourse there to examine me and give me the third, last shot for contagious diseases before I get a shot for rabies next month. He also did us a favour and gave me the chip now, instead of in a month, in case I wander off or someone steals me, since I'm so cute ;). I didn't feel a thing, in fact I didn't even notice the needles, but the smell of the spray before it was yuck.

Me on the way back before I shopped in a pet store, gotta love "stressful" days, they pour me water every ten minutes of the walk back so I get to dip my ears and we go shopping where I get to pick toys from the pet shop, whichever I want!, took a squeeking hippo and a green ball hihi
Have to admit tho, walking past all those treats and chokolates to get to the toy section and not snack on one took quite a load of discipline;)

Back at the vet's office, we weighted me and I am now 10,4 kg, a little too much, but not that much tho since I'm a big guy, but still could lose a bit while developing...but! to make it easier, we got some "light" biscuits from eukanuba and some treats which are very low on calories from Arden Grange...suprisingly they taste good. Really good. They will be put to good use in 3 weeks when I start my school and will get a treat for everything..hihi. 

Lastly I need to brag about my two new sparkly upper front teeth, first real teeth, which already grew out, but I lost the lower front one now...happens really fast and so far no problems or pain. I guess chewing on things I'm not allowed eases the trouble hihi;).Attaching a picture so you see how sparkly they are.

Today was my owners anniversary, so they took her sister and the son of her boyfriend out for some cake and icecream during the day and left Lyra and me alone for an hour in their flat to play. Which was the best opportunity to misbehave, since they trusted us and we weren't monitored...silly people;)
Their roommate forgot some chocolate rolls on the table so we managed after some strugle to throw them on the floor and eat them all! Chocolate is dangerous to dogs and we can get poisoned but it was soooo good!!! And now instead of going out for diner or to celebrate I have to be monitored in case I start womiting or showing any kind of signs of feeling bad, oh and yes...hyperactivness is one of the side effects..which I am proudly showing hihi. It's 1 am and I demand to play fetch with them, chocolate is fun, but sadly I will never taste it again. They have learned their lesson.

Zuccini!

I love zuccini!!! I absolutely love vegetables and fruit! 

Yummmmy!

Today I got to taste diffirent vegetables and absolutely became obsessed with zuccini, I knew carrots were good, but nothing comes close to zuccini, raw freshly cut, amazing.
So many amazing flavors I'm yet to try...cannot wait;)

Oil and Rice

Today I had fun! I managed to sneak into the kitchen while noone was watching and open the cap on the oil !!! Yay I was covered in oil and dirty...then I ran to kiss my female owner which was sleeping with oily paw prints all over the bed sheet...they caught me then:S Now I need a bath and I'm not going to like it..first shampooing ever...bah I will smell nice. Ate rice today for the first time, sticky little bugger but good! I like it:)

I did not do anything bad today...Right...

I dont know anything about any oil being spilled...

and then I got to pick which toys i want to play with from my toy basket:)
