Hedgehog, dogs and late night walks in nature

Again Slovenia has been hit by the heat wave, tomorrow they say it will be 34 degrees, which is unbareable, so we took advantage tonight and went for a long walk to the vineyards to meet Emma and Tara. Lyra and us met in the city and walked, ran, ate everything chewable on the way up, where those two girls met us with love and excitement. We played till it got dark. I was treated with some tuna by my female owners mom, never tasted it before...another new taste. Here is how we wait and sit for some treats, you have to admit, I do fit in well with the ladies, we make a lovely pack. :)
Tara, Emma, Lyra and fluffy little me focused on crunchy bites treats

On the walk down thru the woods in the dark we met an animal I have never seen in my life, it's body color is very similar to Ed, our cat hihi, I had to check it out, but he had spikes which weren't soft anfdthey hurt my nose so I didn't bother it for long, it was best to observe from a bit of a distance.
Hedgehog meeting
Pretty, but afraid of me...so it's best to walk away and let him enjoy the cool night.

Calm assortive energy;)

Today we watched Cesar Millan and I have to admit, he understands us so well, I enjoy the series a lot, especially when I get to watch it from sitting on a lap and being petted:)
Lyra was vising this week and we played like crazy, but most important thing is that I have mastered calm assortive energy, when we rest hihi. We have a little movie about me cleaning her ears and expressing love towards cute little Lyra. I am begining to like rain, since she usually comes over then, a keen plan to exhaust us without getting all wet, I bet, but a good plan;)

Mushrooms

Today my female owner went to the market with her dad on the way to the shops, but when they saw that those market salesmen were selling mushroom, they couldn't resist so they cancelled all their plans and called us up. We drove about 30 minutes to a beautiful forest and started looking for mushrooms, running around and eating everything we could find. We being Lyra and me, since she came along. We found 202 mushrooms! We were walking, exploring and playing for 5 hours in the cool but warm forest. This is how the mushrooms that we were after look like.
We didn't take this picture, it's from a cooking site, since we forgot the camera.
My female owner's sister had an operation so she was quite weak after we came home, so we decided to keep Lyra with us till nighttime...we played, slept, ate, peed, played, slept...you know how it goes with us puppies :)
I am asleep now, but my nails have been cut, my paw hair has been groomed, my fur has been brushed so I am ready for bed all pretty as usual. I have to brag about my new teeth they are really starting to show, I have the frontal ones almost completely out leaving only my fangs to fall out and the back ones. I do however get spoiled by my owners massaging my gums to ease the pain (it's not like the toys and such don't do the job, but extra is always welcome;)).

The chip, the teeth and the weight

Today we went to the vet, Dr. Rok was ofcourse there to examine me and give me the third, last shot for contagious diseases before I get a shot for rabies next month. He also did us a favour and gave me the chip now, instead of in a month, in case I wander off or someone steals me, since I'm so cute ;). I didn't feel a thing, in fact I didn't even notice the needles, but the smell of the spray before it was yuck.

Me on the way back before I shopped in a pet store, gotta love "stressful" days, they pour me water every ten minutes of the walk back so I get to dip my ears and we go shopping where I get to pick toys from the pet shop, whichever I want!, took a squeeking hippo and a green ball hihi
Have to admit tho, walking past all those treats and chokolates to get to the toy section and not snack on one took quite a load of discipline;)

Back at the vet's office, we weighted me and I am now 10,4 kg, a little too much, but not that much tho since I'm a big guy, but still could lose a bit while developing...but! to make it easier, we got some "light" biscuits from eukanuba and some treats which are very low on calories from Arden Grange...suprisingly they taste good. Really good. They will be put to good use in 3 weeks when I start my school and will get a treat for everything..hihi.

Lastly I need to brag about my two new sparkly upper front teeth, first real teeth, which already grew out, but I lost the lower front one now...happens really fast and so far no problems or pain. I guess chewing on things I'm not allowed eases the trouble hihi;).Attaching a picture so you see how sparkly they are.
Tiny, pretty new shiny pair

Lost a tooth!

Today I lost my first tooth, front one, I'm now 3 months, 2 weeks and 2 days old and developing perfectly! The teeth are going to start falling out even more and I will get my uber cute new permanent ones to sparkle with hihi. On the other hand that means I will be able to chew anything that comes my way since now I have an even bigger reason for it , hopefully I will mostly focus on my chew toys;).
The picture isn't the best since it was taken during play with my abnormally loud talking monkey toy, but you can see the gap in the front :)

As I said, I'm 3 months and a half and I already know the following tricks (ofcourse with a cookie reward for now):
  1. Sit
  2. Lay
  3. Jump
  4. Give paw
  5. Dig /  search
  6. roll (almost perfected it, working on it a bit more tho, since it's the newest trick;))
We will later attach a movie of me showing it ;)

My puppy school, which I will be attending starts in september, ofcourse since I am tiny they will enroll me into kindergarden and I cannot wait! It's going to be so much fun, so many puppies and I wont be allowed to play with them since I'm going to be a good dog who is educating himself...yay;) I don't think I will have any problems adjusting, since I already walk nicely on the leash, I dont pull, the string is always loose and I listen...for now...puberty is about to hit me in the head so I presume everything I know...will be forgotten haha.
