Yawning

There is just something very relaxing with laying on top of my owner while my ears are getting combed. They actually tease me and count how many times I yawn while they are grooming me. I managed to yawn around 30 times hihi. Yes yes, I am very lazy and relaxed while my ears are being petted. Especially after a long day of fun yesterday. It has been snowing again, which makes me go completely crazy, but the fun part was, the snow was very heavy and hard, so I didn't need my coat on, that made it so much better to dive into it and get myself all wet and dirty hihi. It has been snowing again today, all day, and tomorrow we are going to the vineyards, up there the snow is even higher and all the smells are more intense.

I followed so many deer footprints around, especially those which they made on the vine terrases, so clear and rich in scent. I have to admit, my breed name doesn't become me, I am so far from being a hunter it's lovely. the birds chirp around me and sing, deer almost run me over and I don't notice them, I am quite the lovely city companion that my owners want me to be. Apart from having the ability to get so dirty that I clog the drain haha.

But otherwise not much is new, snow and fun, warmth and slacking, just the way winter should be hihi.

Things are getting back to normal

We changed the food back to the vetenary one and started adding Arden Grange slowely. Even tho we wanted to switch from it to Acana, I started getting some serious problems with my stomach, diarrhea and bad breath, not to mention I was always tired and latheric. But my owners were quick to notice it, so they stopped it before it got really bad. My bad breath is gone, my limp also, everything is getting back to normal and I am getting back to being healthy and active. It's really surprising what food change can do to a dog, even if the food is amazing, it's just finding the best fit for every individual dog out there I guess hihi.

Past few days have been sunny and warm, which insipired us to start working on our little project at the vineyards. We started cleaning out the acacia trees and cut down the big trees on the lower part of the area, next to the brook. Those huge wild trees make a shade over fruit trees and other cute flowers in summer. The area usually grew so wild that landmowing it was almost impossible. But now I get to dig and pull branches, while my owners work around it. It is a stick heaven, and I am not shy to bark for a few throws so I can retrive them back hihih. The best part is, that the fence border was put wrongly and the area we own is much bigger then we thought, so now my owners are improving it and will make the brook look a lot cleaner and the area a lot more leveled so we Tara, Emma and I can play hihi, well atleast thats what we want it for hihi.

Today is raining, really hard and it's a perfect excuse to be lazy, sleepy and slack as much as possible. Something which I am gladly doing, nothing better then resting on the soft bed while listening to the rain.

Emma sleepover

My leg got hurt a few days ago, so we have been taking it very easy. I was running and got my foot stuck in an acacia tree, a small one, which twisted my leg a bit and I started limping. But once we got home, and I had a good rest, I am much better.

Today Maja went up and took Emma, they ran down as Emma was so excited, that they were in town in half the usual time hehe. We met at Bella's house. Bella is this really friendly cute golden retriver, who always runs to the fence, lays down and demands to be petted hehe. Pretty girl that one.Not as pretty as Emma though, of all my female friends, Emma is the closest to me. We always kiss, play and get along more then anyone. Always have, since the first day we met, she has been always gentle and loving to me. We then went to the park to meet dogs and drain our energies, which led us to being so tired, we both can barely walk haha. Emma foot is hurting, but we presume it's due to her overdoing it with running. Should be better after a good night's rest on our bed haha.
A bunch of love connected
Poor girl, my owners bathed her and cut the fur on her feet and tail, she didn't like that much, and I...well I slept on the bathroom floor in celebration it wasn't me haha. But I did get up to kiss her ears and show her I am there and understanding the discomfort of being clean.
Owners grabbed the huge box of toys I have and scattered it around us, so we played and played, till we fell asleep on the floor. But Emma being a retriver, she does the opposite...she grabs a toy and runs away to hold it in her mouth, not once in her life has she ever retrived back to the humans haha. Cool dog that girl.

Right now, we have crashed on the bed, Emma on the left, Mags in the middle between us and me on Maja's pillow. But not to worry, my owners learnt long time ago that when they are dog sitting, they sleep in shifts, this way we get 100% comfort and fun. Very nice of them actually, we shall repay it with sloppy kisses and licks hihi. No wonder all dogs love comming for a visit hihi.

Also wanted to mention new boots arrived, boooo. They fit. But hihi the snow is gone so my feet are free and happy haha. And I got the coolest ugliest toy I ever saw, it's so ugly that it becomes awesome haha. Here is a picture of my new vulture toy. Haha.

Haha such a cool looking toy
And yes, my owners are aware I have way to many toys, but...I never destroy anything, never have, never will. Unless you count the "amputees", thats the name of the toys which are missing a leg, an ear, an eye or some other parts if not all, hihi. I still have all of them, just because they are not complete anymore, doesn't mean they are not perfect to me.

Nightwalks and snowflakes

It has been extreme weather lately, it went from 10 + down to minus and heavy snow. It has been snowing like crazy past few days and I, well I just love it. The snow is so high that I have to jump to walk, it's amazing. And my owners get the best ideas when it's snow outside. We take these night walks thru the forest, which would usually be too dark without a flashlight, but since it's snowing the sky is pink and lighter. We also tested out the gear and my boots finally arrived and luckily for me, they are too small hihi, so we have to wait with those haha. We did however get very pleasantly surprised by Zoohit, the company we ordered from. They sent back an email they cannot exchange the boots but that they have refunded the money and that we should donate the boots to someone who needs them or a local shelter. What a big shock, never knew those huge companies could be so amazing and animal oriented!
We also borrow Lyra and taken a few night pictures from the night walk. So tonight I will let the pictures tell more.

And the nightwalk, where I had to wear a scarf due to my ears becoming huge snowballs, but it wasn't that bad, since I wasn't in pain and I could run around freely more.

Mags and us dogs ran up hill and rolled down so many times, it's just the best fun, especially since we land on snow which is softer. What fun winter is, and we all have great winter gear so we don't get wet or cold and can be outside for hours, just playing, joking and having fun. I love winter.

Bones and hearts

Today we had our vet visit to see if the diet I was on was showing any progress about my allergy detection and luckily it's not the food yay. We celebrated it with a huge bovine bone which I chewed as if they didn't feed me for a few weeks hehe. I missed the taste of real food, man oh man did I miss it! The vet said the ears are good but not completely healthy, but we will work on as many things as we can to make them better. And ofcourse my owners got so happy after the vet, that we went to buy some fish for the aquarium and a toy for me hihih. I love the new toy, have been playing with it for hours. And it makes me look good! The new year is starting out to be a good year hihi.
